Ronnie played for Thurrock District on Saturday 17th May at Oxford City Football Stadium where the team won their semi final and went on to win the Southern Counties Cup in the final. Thurrock have not won this since 1980.
They are also in the Gills Cup Final which will be played this weekend (24th May) in Canterbury.

Congratulations to Katy. Katy completed her 1000m swimming distance badge – 40 lengths continuously.

Well done to Lainey, Sally and Ruby for winning the U10’s Cup Final on the 27th of April 2025. Corringham Athletic under 11 girls won against Brentwood Town girls under 11. Final score 1 v 0.



Nicholas competed in the Welsh Ju Jitsu Nationals and he won a bronze medal.

Austin received the trophy for the most tries and the most tags whilst playing a match for Thurrock Rugby club against Chelmsford Rugby club during February half term. Great work.

Jack played a football festival on 1st December and showed his skills on pitch and in goal. He even scored an equaliser for his team and was given Managers Player – GO Jack!

Alice took part in her very first gymnastics competition and had so much fun. She achieved gold awards in vault and bars and silver on floor. She smiled all the way through her nerves and her family were so proud of her. Well Done Alice!

Katy got 2nd place at the south Essex gymnastics competition in her age group. It was her first ever competition. Fantastic result Katy, well done.

Bray has been doing really well in his swimming lessons. He received three certificates and completed his current stage. He’s now onto stage 5. Well done Bray.

Sami has been going fishing and recently caught his first fish all by himself, with no assistance. it took great perseverance and effort. Fantastic achievement Sami.

Dolly attends Youth Creation dance school and took part in competition at the beginning of October. She danced her first ever solo and made it all the way to the finals and placed 6th. Her team Embers also came 1st place in the groups. Great job Dolly.

Connie went to Germany early October for the United Nations of Jujitsu Competition. She loved every minute. She took part in 3 categories. Empty Hand Kata, Pairs Kata and Random Attacks.
She placed 4th in Random Attack and won a Bronze Medal for her Pairs Kata with her partner. Well done Connie.
